Solo travel to Ikaria during olive harvest
If you take a solo travel to Ikaria in November you can pick olives with us and see how olive oil is produced. From Monday to Saturday, between 10:30 and 17:00, our guests will be able to work for a few hours picking olives in the fields or participate in other outdoors activities: walking tours, visits to local artisans, island tours. Indoor activities like traditional dance lessons and cooking evenings will also take place in late afternoon – evening, when the dark falls. A visit to an oil press while it is working is a must.
