Activities and accommodation in Ikaria for solo travelers and digital nomads

Staying at the Ikarian Center may be interesting if you are traveling alone or alone, want to work on your own project and at the same time want to meet people and have a healthy socialization with them. You can join the small group of modern Greek students living in our hostel and participate with them in activities such as cooking evenings, songs, traditional dance lessons, film screenings, discussions, lectures and visits to attractions of the island. Ideal if you are learning Greek as a foreign language since it will be an opportunity to get to know the Greek language and culture better. Also ideal for Greeks who are learning a European language, as they will be able to practice it by speaking with native speakers who are among our students.

Accommodation for couples or friends traveling together

If you are coming with a fellow traveler, you can share the room with them for an extra cost of 15€ per day, but in this case you must come with your own vehicle or rent a vehicle from the island. On our website you can find a list of car rental agencies in Evdilos.

Cost

For the cost consult the reservation calendar at the end of this page. The cost before the last weekend of July and after August 31st covers participation in the activities we organize, two simple meals per day, and local transportation to the beaches and Evdilos, the central settlement and port of northern Ikaria. Please note that we do not offer breakfast, but you can prepare your breakfast in the kitchenette of your room, which is equipped with the necessary things (fridge etc.)

From the last weekend of July and throughout the month of August, no activities or local transportation are organized, nor food or breakfasts are offered.
