1. Services Provided
The Ikarian Centre (Legal title: Mihalis Kavouriaris) provides Greek language courses (live and online) and accommodation services in Ikaria, Greece. Online tutoring includes live video sessions and asynchronous support via email. These services involve significant human intervention and are not automated digital products.
2. Data Retention
By registering, you agree that the Ikarian Centre will maintain your personal data (name, address, phone, email) for a period of 10 years for educational tracking, tax compliance, and historical record purposes.
3. Payment Security
The Ikarian Centre does not store or process credit or debit card information. Financial transactions are handled securely via direct bank transfers or payment links provided by official Greek banks (like National bank of Greece). For our online Greek language courses are handled securely by Paddle.com.
4. Cancellation & Refunds
Cancellations for language courses and accommodation are subject to our specific refund policy communicated during the booking process. Online tutoring refunds are handled via Paddle.
5. Reservations & Payments
Payments via credit cards for our online courses process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our digital and online tutoring orders. Paddle provides customer service for payments and handles tax compliance. The official invoice/receipt for your purchase will be issued by Paddle. For on-site services payments, separate terms may apply as per our direct communication.
Privacy Policy

We collect your name, physical address, telephone number, and email address when you register for a course or book accommodation.
2. Purpose of Processing
We use your data to manage your stay, facilitate your language lessons, and comply with Greek tax regulations (e.g., e-registry of guests).
3. Data Storage & Security
Your personal data is stored securely for 10 years. We do not collect or store any financial data (credit card numbers).
4. Your Rights (GDPR)
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or request the deletion of your data, provided it does not conflict with legal tax obligations.
