At the Ikarian Centre, we offer a unique Community Stay in Ikaria alongside our Greek language lessons for adults. Our mountain guesthouse, perched where the rugged peaks meet the Aegean Sea, is the perfect base to embrace the island’s raw beauty and enjoy hiking in Ikaria.

Experience the island not as a tourist, but as a member of a vibrant micro-community. We provide a sanctuary for solo travelers and digital nomads seeking authentic socialization without the commitment of Greek language classes. While exploring the trails is a highlight, hiking is entirely optional. If you choose to wander, we help you co-design your routes and assist with transfers to and from the trailheads. Your stay is made whole through shared activities for all —from traditional dance and cooking nights to local events—that bring you heart-to-heart with the people, history, and culture of the island.
